I have a hen who has been on penicillin for about a week now. She was broody for a while & now she has started to lay eggs again. Are her eggs ok to eat or should I just feed them back to her?

Most will say don't eat them for two weeks. That being said, my husband did eat eggs from a bird we treated and he had no ill effects. I didn't eat them, because I'm allergic to amoxicillin/penicillin, so I wasn't going to take the chance. Some say feeding them back to the birds isn't good, because it allows the anti. to stay in their system longer.
