I know she's pretty rough looking we got her about a month ago and the rooster there was really picking on the hens.

I don't really know what I'm looking at. I caught another chicken to get a feel of how she should feel and this hen is skinny. She almost seems to have a lump in her throat. Right before her neck meets her body. I thought the crop would be lower

Wow, she is rough looking. Age? She doesn't appear to have a full crop in the photo. Are you sure its not empty?

It very well could be empty. We were told that she is 2 or 3 years old. I replied to the photo to add more info. It almost feels like she has a lump in her throat. Right before her neck meets her body

That lump is her crop. Keep food away from her and check again in the morning. If it is soft, you know that the crop is empty and she has processed its contents.

It seems so much higher than in the diagrams I've looked at. She's doesn't want to eat anything.

we have turned ours upside down and they “spit up” what’s bothering them. Offer plenty of water after.

Be careful @Redchels it can be very dangerous for the hen. I would try it only like the last option.

Your hen is very sick. I see from her photo she's suffering from a likely respiratory disease and an advanced case of scaly leg mites. For starters.

Where and under what circumstances did you acquire these chickens? Do you know how old they are? Have they laid any eggs since you've had them? What does their poop look like?

I'm being inclusive of all your chickens because they all may be suffering from these things plus internal parasites and possibly lice.

Besides providing the additional information, we need to see photos of the other chickens and poop, especially from this hen.
