Hen or a Rooster

Hi all

Was wondering if you could help me with this matter, I'm trying to figure out if this is a hen or a rooster, either way I plan on keeping the hen or rooster , I'll just put her in a different coop with the older hens, any advice I'd really appreciate it

He has male specific feathering.

This. Females have round feathers here.
Plus, his comb and wattles are large and red.

Thanks everyone so much for your reply, its very much appreciated, I've never had any Roosters before, Just hens, can they get vicious or anything, as i have young children, I have about 18 hens 5 of them are about 7 years old, have them living there lifes out in a separate coop, would it be ok to put the cockerel in with the older hens, sorry for all the questions.
