It looks like the whitish one is a boy, but I can't say for certain as his comb isn't big, it's just very red for being so young.
I give my cockerels a good swat when they do that. I worry about them becoming irreversibly aggressive. If they're outside you can chase them a little with the hose, then you aren't hitting them.Thank you, I was thinking he was a boy. Especially after today, when I pulled him out and he kept rushing at me. It was very different behavior, from what I have seen from my four grown hens.
