Hen or Roo Buff Orps

With a lot of zooming in, I see shiny pointed feathers on every buff bird you have pics of. I think you have a bunch of boys since that last pic looks like 5 of em to me

Ok, I think these represent the three different birds. Pic one is bird #1. Pics 2 and 3 have bird #2 and bird #3. I am pretty sure #1 is a roo. The two in the second and third pics, I am sure one is a roo but not sure of the other one but I think it might be a roo, too. I have more pics if these are not sufficient.

I'm considering keeping them regardless. They are docile and quiet and do not harass the other birds. And they add some color to my flock of Austrolorp, Maran and Welsummer hens.

How many hens do you have? You need at least 6 hens per rooster. Also, they may seem sweet now, but they can quickly turn mean. Having multiple roosters can lead to fighting, over-mating, and other problems in a flock. I would not advise keeping more than one rooster. Best wishes! :)

I have about 25 hens. Tomorrow is the big day for the roosters. I have probably 15 Maran and Maran-cross roosters. I was thinking of keeping one huge Austrolorp rooster, one small rooster, which I don't know what breed it is, and possibly all three of these Buff Orps. But I may just take your advice on the Buff Orps. I might just keep the one that might be a hen.
