Hen or roo?? lotsa pics...

I got this one at our local Smith Farm store labeled as a Aracauna pullet. First off, let me say I know it's an EE and not a true Aracauna. About a week ago the darn thing started crowing and crows every morning.....alot.......until I let them outside in their run and perches at the highest roost every night. It will be 4 weeks old in 4 days. What do you think?? It sure looks like a pullet to me but the crowing has me second guessing (although I've heard on here that girls can crow). I'd really like to pick a name for it other than "dinner"

That's a real weird chicken you got there. The crown isn't very big but looking at the tail feathers I'd say it was a roo. But I aren't very good at guessing we had a cockerel that was called Joyce and even believed it was laying eggs and crowing because it was copying the cockerel's and that it was playful with the other hens lol! I'd call him Smoky!

I would say roo with the tail feathers like that and if he is crowing its a boy sorry but he is a great looking rooster.

Totally a Rooster the feathers and the crowing are it! Now if it starts laying its a HE/SHE LOL!

I say ROO-dinner.
However rule of thumb I live by is If it crows or lays an egg I will know for sure.
