I have wanted chickens for a long time. We finally moved to a house with some property and no neighbors/associations, so we bought 5 chicks from the local feed store. I was wondering if all of you experts or seasoned chicken owners could take a look and see if you think I have hens or roos. The chicks are about 6-7 weeks old with the exception of the Russian Orloff, who could be a week or more younger. I have a feeling that the Easter Egger is a roo, which is so sad to us b/c we wanted that breed specifically for the fun eggs. Thanks in advance for your info!

Your Orpington, Rock, and Buttercup are all female.

I'm with you, I'm feeling roo-ish on the EE. His coloring could go either way, but that's a heck of a lot of comb for an 8 week old bird. EE pullets that age would normally have a barely noticeable comb. You might try posting him on the Easter Egger Sexing--Tips and Tricks thread in this forum. Those people are REALLY good at sexing EEs.

Your Orloff could go either way at this point.

All right now appear to be female to me. The EE is tricky because of the rusty coloring on the head. Americaunas can somewhat be sexed on colors, particularly a red color up on the shoulders indicates a roo. Still, some EEs do not fit into that color scheme because of the mix they may have with other breeds. I would wait a while on her/him.

Thanks so much for your kind replies! @WalkingOnSunshine, Thanks for the tip...I'm going to try and get a better pic of the EE and post on that board.
