Hen or roo

Bought a hen egg, pretty sure "she's" a he. Is this a roo? I can't have roos here, so I'm upset about this!

Can anyone explain what makes him a roo? Is it the pointy feathers?

The point saddle and hackle feathers coming in. The comb being that red at a young age too is a giveaway.
