Hen or Roo?

I've seen cockerels with HUGE red combs and they still peep. Now that I look at it it does kinda look like a late blooming cockerel, but I have had pullets that have a couple pointed sickle feathers.

@AlleysChicks I just reread your post and saw that that's not what you meant at all. It would be a lot more red by now if it was a cockerel.

I had 9 cockerels this spring. Straight run at it's finest. The lower rank ones had small combs but not female small, they were peachy colored. They had male feathers and only crowed once I got rid of the dominant boys.

Hard to see due to the pattern but if you look closely neck feathers are pointy.
:thumbsup
There are some at base of tail coming in also. If the first pic is in larged you can see them much better.

Ok, the hen i was suspect on I saw mating a bantam today. But he/she does not crow and in no other way acts like a roo. Also does not have the pointy, droopy feathers near the tail. I so confused. Is it possible she is a dominant female and could mount the other girls like ducks do? I do not think it is laying again yet as yesterday was the first day of spring. This is the bird: Help!
