hen or roo

I hate to buck the trend, but I'm getting a late developing roo vibe from it. I think I see pointy hackle feathers and that tail is very long and curving and the whole shape is just a bit rangy. I am not certain one way or the other. How long has the comb been red like that?

Yes but this bird's comb isn't floppy, it is upright. Leghorn pullets/hens in lay should have big floppy combs but the leghorn cockerels are supposed to have large upright combs. Of course there is always variation. I will be interested to find out from the OP how long this bird's comb has been red.
