Hen or Roo?

It could be a pullet, but I'm not sure. The lack of a tail at this point, and those thick legs make me wonder if it's not a late blooming cockerel. The pictures of the black ones are so tough because it's really hard to see the detail on the feathering. I think you may want to wait a couple more weeks, or see if those noises develop into a crow.

View attachment 1411534 I have what i thought was(and still hope is) a hen. But today i got a very loud sound coming out of it. While it did not sound like a regular rooster crowing it was just very loud but sounded low and kind of gutteral like a peacock. Im new to this so im hopeing someone can tell me a bit about it. She is still too young to lay so i cant tell that way.
