Chirping
Hi everyone!
I am in need of some help identifying if one of my Orpingtons is a roo. I grew up in the country with chickens but I am only familiar with bantams. Recently acquired six chicks back in April. My girls are all sweet as sugar. One stands out from the rest being more curious and actually wanting to be pet and held. “Petie” we now think may be a roo. Unfortunately I am in city limits and we can not have roosters. He/she has not attempted to crow-yet. The face/comb/waddles are larger and more red than the other girls. Can anyone give me their opinion on if they think it’s a roo? He/she is one of my favorites so I hope not a rooster. Would break my daughters heart if we had to give it away. Any chance if roo it won’t crow?? lol one can hope...
