I have a standard blue Cochin, supposed to be a girl but her wattles are bright red and her comb is a bit larger than the other 2 girls. Same size, not dominant and 4 months old. 2nd photo is the comparison.

Second photo broken. First glance at first photo looks like a hen to me. Bright red could mean she will start laying soon. If you put your hand on her back does she squat?

Pullet. Comb and wattles can flush red when they are excited or stressed. At 4 months she might be getting ready to start laying but I wouldn't think so with a large breed Cochin.
