At eight weeks, that big red comb makes me think cockerel. My almost eleven-month-old Americana hen has a smaller comb than that.

So it was really hard to get pictures of some of them. The gold and silver lace Wyandotte’s were tough since it’s hard to tell them apart. #4 H.B i think was suppose to be my otheR blue lace red Wyandotte. She is also the biggest out of the group and picks on the others. Maybe I have a gender confused chicken in the bunch

I love that movie as well! It started off with a few names before we settled on Cheeks. It’s just nothing really stuck and we kept referring her as Cheeks. It fits so well, those fluffy cheeks are adorable!

Thanks! That was one of my other ones I was really questioning. Especially since none of the others have such red wattle and comb yet. Though we might have to do a name change if it is true lol.
