So I’ve posted about this same hen before. I’m convinced she’s a rooster. 20 week old speckled Sussex. No crow or egg yet. The cuckoo marans is 21 weeks and the australorp and RIR are 19 for comparison. She is very friendly and not at all aggressive, but her comb is much bigger and redder than the others and tail is bigger and more curved back. All her feathers seem rounded though so I’m torn

everyone on here last time said hen, and in a Facebook group I got mostly hen answers yesterday, but two Roos from a farm and a chicken breeder 🥴

The speckled Sussex. Is definitely 100% a rooster. Has every rooster look. Definitely not a hen.
Ugh that’s my favorite one! I’m keeping him til I hear a crow. We have no chicken ordinance in my town so I wonder if I could fight to keep him? I’m very close to my neighbors though and one already told me I better not get a rooster

She is still a hen in my opinion. The body, specially the tail looks like a hen. Also short legs? 75% chance it’s a hen.
