Well I’m getting eggs! They’ve laid this week but I was at work so I can’t be sure who!!! I’m doing a stakeout this weekend. I have the speckled Sussex, Rhode Island Red, black australorp and cuckoo marans. Here’s the eggs I got, gonna do a stakeout this weekend so I can see who their from!

The saddle feathers look hen-like to me. Very rounded tips. What a beauty! Love that pattern.

Still no eggs and no crowing! I’m very much leaning to hen as she’s now 28 weeks old. I feel like it’s be obvious by now if it was a boy, but I’d feel better if she laid an egg! But the eggs I’m getting are definitely not from her.

But yes, that's a pullet. If she's 28 weeks old just be patient. Eggs will be coming soon!
