I remember that one of mine matured really quick like that to, a lot of my Buffs have been that way. In my experience the huge comb at young age is a Buff Orp thing.Looks like a hen to me
My Hen at 6 months looked like yours, with a red face and waddle, but my other girl had a pink comb and waddle for awhile. They all mature at different rates
