That first picture is actually a red sex link- production reds have black neck and tail feathers.

See, I noticed that to, Purley Poultry hatchery must have the photo wrong. I have never owned PR's so didn't know if it was one of those breeds that was really alike to a Red Sex-link.

Yeah, hatcheries do that. There’s also about a hundred names for red sex links, even when they’re the same exact crossing.
