Hello all, I have recently decided to add to my flock and I now have 28 chickens total and all of them are hens, or at least supposed to be. So 5 weeks ago I went to my local tractor supply and I picked up 6 pullets. 3 Rhode Island reds, and 3 white leg horns. The reds are all growing at the same rate, but one of my white leghorns has taken off in growth and I’m not worried she may be a he. Since I’ve had them for 5 weeks I’m guessing they are just around 6 weeks old. The one that I think may be a he had a crown that is nearly an inch tall accompanied by wattles while the other birds still have their baby yellow crown and no wattles. I’ve also noticed that it seems to be a bully, it will peck at the others more vicious and frequently than just establishing the pecking order. I’ve been looking for any other sign that she may be a he. Any help will be appreciated. I’ve attached photos and if other angles are needed I can take more pictures. Thank you in advance.
