I think the lady i got them from said there were 8 months to a year old and that was about a month ago

So you would say it’s definitely a hen? I know I’m getting eggs from my silkie group but there’s 8 total 2 being for sure roosters and 1 isn’t laying yet but was told it was a rooster so assumed and didn’t think until today for some reason it might not be a rooster haha

It's 100% a pullet, or hen.

They aren't like our version of silkies, but they have their own beauty.

It is a girl - because the wings are small.
I don't have much experience in this guess hen or roo, but I would like to take a guess that it is a girl Rooster has big wings from what I can see from my roo.
