Hen or Roo

May I ask what changed your mind? Just so I will know what to look for? Tail feathers? Thank you all for helping me out. I love this site. When can this girl go in with my regular size hens? She is still with her silkie "momma", lol. I have 4 regular size hens and a small bantam roo in the other pen.

Thank you for your reply, Im thinking cockerel to.... I have 9 chicks total and fear I have 2 that will be Roos .. Oh we'll as another person replied at least I will have a pair of the Barnevelders. The other one I think is a roo is the only columbian wyandotte I ordered :(. I really wanted her to be a her... Now I will just wait for a few weeks and see if I hear a crow.

Roo, because of the red crown so early. On most breeds, females don't show a crown until much later, and it doesn't turn red until right before they begin to lay eggs. (4-6 months, depending on breed).
