Hen or Roo??

Im thinking this might be a Roo?? Looks to have little starts of spurs. He/She is around 6 weeks old.

ok thanks! believe it or not im kinda hopimg for a roo in my flock. I ordered 21 chicks from mcmurray 1 being a roo and he didn't make it so I don't have one. I know I don't kneed one but was kinda wanting one.

Chances are that in your bunch you might still have a roo hiding. Lol! One of my assorted brown egg layers is a speckled sussex roo.

Good news is that this time of year roosters are easy to come by as all those folks who did not want one are finding them in their batches of "pullets" from this spring...........in fact, depending on your location you may find someone here who is nearby you that has an extra roo or two
