Hen or Roo?

Thanks for the advice. Taking Silkies' frontal pictures are very difficult! They don't sit still, I can never see their eyes, and I don't think they can see well either. I have food right in front of them and cannot see. Usually their other big sisters hover over them and snag all food I try to give to Silkies. But I am going to work on that. I am also trying to take some photos of their earlobes. I see their beautiful turquoise earlobes but again, it's so hard to take pictures of them.

If I have to have a rooster, I wanted it be a Silkie though. I was worried the Mottled Java be a rooster because she is giant! She is larger than our 3 adult hens and she is quite loud too. But again, when my hand touches her back, she flattens her back so I was assured that she was a pullet. Thanks!

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. You have a beautiful flock and I don't see anything screaming rooster in any of them, however as drumstick diva said, Silkies can be notoriously difficult to sex at young ages. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck in getting all pullets.
