Hen or Rooster Barred Rock?

Hello,
We have a young chicken that we though was a hen that we're beginning to suspect might be a rooster. (We're not allowed to have roosters so if s/he turns out to be one then we're going to have to figure something out.)

We would greatly appreciate if anyone here could able to lend us their experienced eye and let us know what they think.

I’m guessing rooster. Only because I have 4 puppets and their combs are nowhere near that developed and im assuming that this fella is a little Young yet.

We think s/he’s around six months old at this point.

I don't see a barred rock in the pic... the silver laced Wyandotte is a female, the barred white eared chicken in the foreground is a cockerel. I'm not sure what it is, but I'd guess a mix. I don't know if there's a barred breed with white ear lobes and blue legs.

BTW, what your looking for to determine sex at this age is this...
