He won't get spurs for awhile. Mine is a year old and his are small

He doesn't crow either the RIR girls make more noise than he does. He just clucks. The refs sound like they are pissed about something. Or complaining.... just a long eeeeerrrrr like a door creaking haha

Roosters don't get spurs until they're older. Hens can also have spurs, so spurs are not a very good way to sex chickens.
