Hen or Rooster... HELP!

The only way chicks would happens if the female went broody and hatched eggs or if you incubated some.

And if you don't want to have the hen hatch eggs and she is broody you can simply breck her.

They are just put in a pen together I don't fully understand what you mean by is it hard to keep them together.

We are new to the chicken world and are having fun with two new chicks in our backyard. We have built a cool coop/run and as then are getting older one is starting to "crow" at sunrise and then every hour or so after until the sun is officially up. We can't tell if our Easter Egger Hen is actually a rooster or not yet. Please help. I have read a lot of articles that say Hen's can also crow. So I am not sure. I have attached a photo of her here.
If you don't want a rooster you should think about finding him a new home as soon as possible and also think about getting another pullet or two. Chickens are social and aren't happy being alone.
