It would be really helpful to be able to blow the picture up so that we can see some detail. You need to click "full size image" instead of "thumb nail" I think when you embed the photo..... this is a case of the almost totally blind probably leading the partially or maybe fully sighted though..... I'm useless with computers.... so may be incorrect with that advice

I'm leaning towards cockerel. Pullets don't have large, red combs and wattles at that age! Could you pull the wing out, and take a pic of what's there?

I’m no help but I just wanted to say they are absolutely beautiful birds! I wanted Wyandottes but hubby preferred the barnevelders. Still beautiful but I just love how bold the colours pop on Wyandottes <3
