Hen or Rooster?

Oh yeah, those are pullets, and you have yourself a nice little trio.
You think they are all pullets? The one in question has a bright red comb and bigger wattles than the other two. It’s also lighter in color but I don’t know if that matters in Dominiques.
 
I'd try no crow rooster collars first. Also, I know a lot of towns have this rule, but aren't hens louder than roosters? With the clucking and egg songs and such. I know they crow, (no crow rooster collars stop crowing for the most part) I wish people started liking the crow noise again!

I will look into the rooster collars. I wish they did too. I’m so close to the city limit line but not close enough. :confused:
 
9.5 week old leghorn, my parents aren't convinced that the first picture is a rooster. Second picture is a hen ( I think) for comparison. The "rooster" is also larger and more aggressivethan the other chickens.
