Another question what age do roosters get that spur on their feet? I’ve read that’s another way to tell too or does it grow like their toes?

They have spur bumps from hatch.
They grow slowly. Usually by a year a cockerel will have some spurring.

Both are female, because they are at POL, when combs grow and redden.
