Hen or Rooster?

Can't help with the sexing. But with the name Ponyo I see someone is a Hayao Miyazaki fan too

If any of you have pictures of your roo or hen at about these ages it would help alot!

I don't think so. Male wyandotte's get really big combs.

I don't know, my silver laced wyandotte hatched in early February, her comb didn't turn red until just recently (she's 17 weeks now, before that her comb was grey with no pink), and she didn't get wattles at all until a few weeks ago, which is when they started getting pink. Compared to my girl at that age I would have to say roo ... but who knows!

I believe the SLW is a pullet. My SLW's comb turned red at about this same age (5-7 weeks) and I freaked out thinking she was a rooster. Then nothing happened. She is 16 weeks now and her comb is still red but hasn't grown any larger.

On the other hand, my GLW's comb is barely turning red at 16 weeks, so there must be some variation in their development.
