Hen or Rooster??

So Eugenia may be a GENE!! It is approx. 3-4 months old. I have a heard a few crows lately, maybe once a week, but I heard it is possible for Hens to crow as well and it is not that often . .YET anyway. Please help! If it is a Rooster I am going to have to give it away, but my next question would be, that it shares a small coop with a Black Star Hen, Beatrice. Do I give them away together or keep Beatrice alone in the coop??

Looks like you got a black star cockerel to go with your hen!
You have a couple of options----
If you offer them together you'll probably get more money, mostly for the pullet. I would not give her away, but selling them together might work.
If you get rid of them both you can start with fresh birds or chicks and not have to worry about how new birds get along together.

Or you can give him away or sell him if you can get anything for him, and look for some similar aged pullets to put in with your remaining bird.

One bird does not do well, they are social and need company.

Thank you everyone . . .I did give them away together. I was just happy to have them in a good home and I've already received picture of their chicky mansion! I woke up this morning and heard a big Roo . .So I know it was a sign I was making the right choice. I am going to look for two more to get together
