HEN OR ROOSTER

We thought this chicken was a girl until the last week with its tail feathers changing. Any help would be appreciated. I already have a rooster .

I'm a novice, but the only sign I see of concern thus far is the tail feathers. I would suggest moving your question to What Breed or Gender is this forum…likely you'll get experienced opinions. and if you can get closer photos of the chicken, that would be helpful. ? is this a BO and ?? what age is she/he?

Yeah it's a BO and was born towards end of may

Looks like a cockerel to me, but agree a better pic would help confirm.

I'd bet my bottom dollar that is a cockerel.

It looks much like my BO rooster when I first got him at 5 months old.

The sickle feathers are pretty convincing, as are the dark patches on the wings.

If it turns out to be a pullet I'd be surprised.

Nothing screams cockerel at this point - no real comb/wattle development or color - so I'm leaning pullet.
