I'm so sorry for your loss.

I only just read this, and so so sorry, that you lost her. But so glad you was
with her when she passed. Bless her. You could not have done anymore. My
thoughts are with you. At least you will always have the memories you shared
together.

Thanks everyone. All my other girls seem to be doing well. The bobcat situation was taken care of and was a total fluke. Lesson learned, no free-ranging if you don't know what time you'll be home. These ladies had taken to camping on the picnic table recently, I literally had to put them in the coop one by one every night. Mr. bobcat saw an opportunity and pounced. I have a broody one so next week she's getting eggs to hatch.
