After the chick hatches and drys you should be able to put it back under mom.

Remember there MIGHT of been a reason she kicked it out, sometimes they know things we dont. So if it doesnt make it, its not your faults !!

Got home from work a little while ago. The chick was still alive but the membranes had dried out around it. So I made the choice, right or wrong, to help it out of the egg. I removed the shell first and then the membrane. It's resting and seems to be ok. I guess if it makes it thru the night it might have a chance.

So wish it luck and we'll see what happens.

I just checked it and it's looking around and peeping.

It starting to peep loudly. Yeah!

This morning I got up to find a lively, fluffly peeping chick. It looks great and will go out to mom this morning.
