Hello! I have a broody hen who is sitting on 4 fertile eggs I bought (no roo). We’re at day 20 so I lifted her up to check for pips and saw 4 more eggs which are unfertilized underneath her that she must have stolen from my other hens. I tried to take the unfertilized eggs from her and she freaked out so I put them back so she wouldn’t break one of the fertile eggs. Along with that, one egg is currently unzipping. What should I do? She is still in the coop, but blocked off now to keep the hens from bothering her and the chicks.
