I have had my rooster since he was hatched, and has always been a genteman. He always found food for them and called them over, and was always on the watch while free ranging. But it got to a point to where my hens quit laying, and he was constantly making his "alarm noise". He is constantly making that noise. So i separated him for a few weeks and 2 of my older hens started laying again, and 4 pullets finally started laying. And shoot, even my ducks started. Is this because he was constantly stressing them out?
