Hen toenail went through egg

One of my eggs had a hole in it, guessing it was from the hens toenail. Is this safe to eat? Safe to bake with? Or should I just throw it away?

I wouldn't eat it unless I was starving, I may be overly cautious though. I would crack it open and give it as a treat to the chickens if you are the type to feed chickens eggs. Some do not do that because it may lead to chickens eating their own eggs... hasn't been my experience though.

If its not leaking I would wager its safe... I still wouldn't eat it.

Feed it back to the birds...either by smashing on the ground or you could scramble it up.
I don't eat toe broken eggs, you know where those toes have been.
