she jumped from the run into the yard and got tormented by my dog, she appeard to be fine, just a little shaken up, it was right about roosting time, and she jumped on the roost, and I thought just went to sleep it off, well, this morning she is in pretty bad shape, she was still on the roost, but her head was just hanging down I though she was intently watching something on the coop floor but nope, shes just droopy... I laid her in a corner of the coop and took out the other birds and gave her a heat lamp and water within easy reach, I'm just thinking shes sore and traumatized, didn't really see much injuries, and last night she ran like crazy to get to the coop and on the roost, so this is kind of wierd. I have to head off to work, I guess we'll know more this evening on if she's gonna pull through or not.

I'm sorry, I just have to laugh at that title.

    I hope she gets better.

Any chance she could have been bitten? Even a small puncture wound from dogs or cats can be very harmful to smaller animals due to the bacteria in their mouths.

Quote:x2. Or sometimes just the swat of a paw can really hurt them. Hope she's feeling better soon!
