Tonight while cleaning Dora's crate she decided to fly around the room a few times

Does she still seem to be maintaining her weight? Is there any change? She seems to be very alert.

She is maintaining her weight, eating and drinking on her own, roosting on a board we installed. She is still walking in small circles not as bad as beginning. Her neck is at a standstill- it hasn't gotten worse nor better.. She is very alert and clucking, and fights me when i give her the prednisone. Her top beak has gotten a bit longer, even though she is pecking her food from a bowl . I think i need to add rocks or dirt or something so she can wear her top tip of her beak back to a normal length

I cant figure out why she is at a standstill. She is on prednisone,vit B ( the chick electrolytes powder)

She feels like she lost weight, yet she is eating on her own and has a overflowing bowl of food and water. She is also falling over , like clumsy and then falls iver

You can put a large rock or brick near her food bowl to rough up her beak. It is also common to trim the beak. Here is a link or two containing info about that:

And she is gone. We took a trip to the vet as she went downhill and i couldn't see her suffer anymore. She couldn't hold her balance and kept falling over

Sorry Maryellen about your loss of Dora. I know that you did all you could to help her, and you should feel good that you did the right thing to end her suffering. Your little monument is so sweet. Take care.
