If so, it's because the egg dropped onto the floor of nest. Not enough straw or shavings in nest.
The hen stands up when egg is coming out and the pointy end hits the hard floor.
A 3" to 4" high piece of wood will help to keep shavings in nest.View attachment 2115305. GC

Might have been stepped on, fair game for eating.
