I have a 3 year old Maran in really bad shape. I noticed her sneezing a lot about a month ago and then recently saw her throwing up water. I started putting oragano oil in her water and just started vetrx. Most concerning, she seems to be now rapidly losing weight. She is eating and drinking but Her crop and belly are empty in the evening. How can I help her?

Take away the oregano oil, there's a reason why others sold in capsules, it's caustic.
What's her diet? Have you felt her crop? It sounds like a blocked or sour crop that's not draining, chickens don't really throw up.

If she's throwing up, then there's a digestive problem.
I'd re-check that crop to see what's it's feeling like.

Look inside her beak for any mucous, lesions, canker, yellow or white pasty material.

Consider getting a fecal float to rule out worms as part of the problem.

You don't mention if she's in lay. She may have a reproductive disorder like Cancer, EYP or similar which can be common in hens. These problems can cause a hen to decline.

Work on hydration. Her normal feed with bits of egg, fish or meat may be enticing to her.

Thanks for the quick responses! I will recheck the crop and mouth. She is still laying. She is easting layer crumble and scratch and peck plus fruit, greens and egg shells. And she is eating and drinking.

This is probably separate but just in case.... i also have a yet to be identified chicken pecking holes in the eggs too.
