Hen with a paralysed foot

Hi all, I need some help regarding my neighbours hen. She has hurt her leg and now it's like it's paralysed and can't walk on it. She has been to the vet and had an ultra sound. This showed no breaks or injuries. They thought possibly marek's disease but the hen is still going well.
She is in a cage at the moment on anti inflammatory medication. She eats and drinks really well, is laying and looks great except she cannot move her leg. I did notice, her leg us starting to get some black on it on the underside where she using this part for balance. This is day 7 and now vet isn't sure what to do next. Thankyou

If the leg is turning black that means the flesh is either bruised due to trauma or is losing circulation caused by trauma or other disease process. Put her in a chicken hammock to get pressure off her sternum. If this is Mareks the disease will continue to progress and the kindest thing would be to end her life. However, the chicken hammock will help her and may help her heal.
