If it's just surface, then I would flush it well, trim any fluff or feathers that might get into the wound and apply triple antibiotic ointment. Likely the scab will fall off on it's own in a couple of days. If you feel like you need to scrub it gently with a rough wash cloth you can, just use soap and water, rinse well.
