Hen with breathing problems...

Hello, I have a 1 1/2 year old Anber-Link hen. Last night i found her outside the coop and it sounded like she had a lot if snot and mucus stuck in her nose and throat. I sepersted her from the flock right now and put her in the garage under a heat lamp. Whats wrong and how do I help?

She is acting normal, eating and drinking good. We gave her some oatmeal this morning and she sounds better.

If there is drainage, keep on keeping her separate. You might need to find out if it is something that can be spread. There are lots of respiratory issues and diseases in chickens, and many can be deadly
