Hen with chick nowhere to be found

My first time broody hatched a chick, they have their own safe space in the run, the other hens are escalating in their attacks on the chick. He's about a month old. The hens fluff out their feathers and dive at him. I saved him a couple of times when he got out of the enclosure. Today after I let them all out to free range, I can't seem to find her and her baby anywhere.

Maybe he’s stuck somewhere, but she may stick around the baby if that’s the case. Any known animals or medium bodies of water around?

We do have predators, but I haven't seen any activity in a long time. No water nearby.

She came back! No idea where she went.

If the others are picking on the chick she probably took it somewhere away from them, where she felt safer.
