Hen with eye problem!

My Welsummer hen, about 11 weeks old, is keeping her eye closed most of the time and it seems watery and red, possibly swollen around the bottom lid.
I have no idea what happened, my daughter just pointed it out to me this evening.
What should I do?!!!

Is it possible she got pecked in the eye? Is she sneezing or coughing?

I'll have to see if I can get a picture. She isn't sneezing or coughing, but I would say that she is more chill than usual.
She could have gotten pecked in the eye I suppose, I really don't know.

Veterycin makes a great eye gel product.

She just wants to keep it closed
I did a saline rinse, but she's gone off to roost now so I'm not sure if that helped or not.

Just keep an eye of her..eye pecks are pretty common and they eye will get to feeling better in a few days.

She either got pecked in the eye or mites bite around the eyes but I don't see any bald spots or tons of swelling hope she feels better soon keep us posted!

She seems to be much better this morning! Maybe it was just something in there and the eye rinse helped!
We treated for poultry lice a week ago, and are planning on retreating today to keep them away, do you think that could be related?
