Hen with hard membrane sticking out of vent?

Hello I have a hen that wasnt doing well yesterday, just sitting in the corner not interacting. I brought her in and gave her calcium as I suspected she was egg bound. She passed a large egg with what appeared to be a soft/slimy membrane on it and I thought that would be it, she's eating normally now etc. Today she has a very hard peice like plastic, I think its dried membrane sticking out of her vent. I soaked her in a warm bath, and carefully put castor oil around the vent and a little around the inside. I tried to give whatever it is a gentle pull but it wouldn't budge. Before I put her in the bath she had a very foul smell like infection. She isnt lethargic or anything. Should I leave it, pull it.... ? Thanks

Do you have pictures of the thing stuck in your chicken's rear?

Can you post photos?

It sounds like it needs to come out. Is she able to poop at all?
 
When was the last time you gave her calcium? This is important to encourage strong contractions to get the remains of the second egg out. Yes, often there is a second egg involved in egg binding.

Give her a soak in warm Epsom salt water, fifteen minutes, to relax her muscles and lubricate her tissues. Then dry her off and place her on a prewarmed thick towel. Make drinking water easily available. One calcium tablet per day until the remains have passed. You should probably think about an oral antibiotic to prevent infection in the oviduct from the ruptured egg.

Very little liquid is coming out around the plug. I dont see any big normal poops
