My ~1 yr old Rhode Island Red is very sick. One day we went out to let the flock out of their run, and she stayed in the coop, and later went and stood in one spot in the backyard and didn't move. Her comb is very pale and she's not making any noise (she's usually a very noisy girl, especially in the morning). We brought her inside and she just lays in the box she's in, hardly eats or drinks, and doesn't move. She sleeps a lot. What's really concerning me is that she hasn't layed an egg in many days, and also hasn't had solid or significant poops. Her waste is yellow and loose, and just kind of leaks out. It doesn't really look like yolk, but it might be. Anyone know what this could be?? Also, before she started acting this way, she layed one soft egg and one misshapen but otherwise normal egg, in that order.

Any diagnoses or suggestions for how to help our girl would be appreciated! We can't really afford to take her to the vet, so I'm hoping there's something I can do...

Thank you

first of all, get her to a vet, she might have a egg stuck in her bottom. the vets would remove gently. my young 15wk old leghorn was sick to. i gave her some SULPHURDIM. it helped alot. try out some sulphurdim. it is cheap and can be bought in fodders and petshops. it could help. keep her away from your other chickens as they could catch her sickness. dripolate some water into her mouth and keep her inside. hope this helps.
