My husband and I decided to let nature take it's course so we did not isolate her. Her vent was cleaned. I am happy to report that she is doing just fine! She is eating, social, drinking (water that I've added vitamins and electrolytes to) and is out dust bathing and scratching for bugs in the yard with everyone else. I have not seen any bloody eggs, so I am assuming she is either laying them just fine or not laying for now. Her comb is up and bright red and her feathers weren't gone from her behind they were matted down with blood and poo, they are mostly fluffy again. She was running around behind and beside my husband when he mowed the lawn yesterday with everyone else too. I'm wondering if she was just egg bound??? In either case we are thankful she is doing just fine.
