Dear rockin reds and nambroth, Both of you are just going thru the wringer right now and my heart goes out to you. I know so many people here are praying for you both AND Nugget and Rue that they both make a good recovery......

I don't see much change in the way her beak looks yet. I let her out in the yard every evening for a couple of hours so she can get exercise and be a chicken.
Ethel is actually great...back to her old self..thank goodness! She finally laid her first egg since being sick this week...YAY!!

Am glad you are going to the vet, look like an open fracture and needs er tx, why do these things always happen on the weekends!
Do you have and ideas on what happened?
